For the ultimate luxury experience, the Astoria Hotel offers five Presidential Suites, all named after famous Russian composers. Each presidential suite has been individually designed, and decorated with paintings, sculpture, ceramics and antique furniture from the Astoria's original collection. These incredibly spacious suites are all situated at the front corner of the hotel, and have views over both the Mariinsky Palace and St. Isaac's Cathedral.
All Presidential Suites comprise a master and a guest bedroom, a dining room and a lounge. Both bedrooms have separate en-suite bathrooms, and there is also a guest toilet off the large entrance hall. The entrance hall is furnished with a large wardrobe, table and antique dressing mirror. From the hall you enter the dining room and library, which has a large dining table with seating for six. Off the dining room, the guest bedroom has a King-size bed which can be converted into two singles if required.
The lounge contains a writing desk and chair, and a seating area comprising a comfortable sofa and two armchairs and large coffee table. The master bedroom lies off the lounge, with a sumptuous master bed, and a separate vanity area, with dressing table and walk-in wardrobe.
