Do you guarantee the prices on your website? The prices we quote represent the exclusively discounted rates normally available through St. Petersburg Hotels. Unfortunately, we can give no absolute guarantee that the prices quoted on our website will be available for the dates you wish to book. Some of our partner hotels may have policies that exclude discount rates at certain times of year, or may reserve some rooms in each category to sell themselves at rack rates. If this is the case, we will inform you of any changes in price before we confirm your booking, and the St. Petersburg Hotels customer services team will be ready to recommend alternative accommodation at equivalent prices. |

When do I pay for my hotel room? St. Petersburg Hotels requires that you pay for your hotel room in full three days before you check in to your hotel. This is standard policy in the Russian tourist industry, and necessary for us to fulfill our contractual obligations to our partner hotels. In turn, it allows us to get exclusive discounts on rack rates at some of the best hotels in St. Petersburg, and to pass these savings on to you, the customer. Some of our partner hotels may insist on earlier payment, in which case you will be informed of this when we send you a booking confirmation. |

How do I pay for my hotel room? You will be asked to submit your credit card details as part of St. Petersburg Hotels' online booking system. At that stage, they are only required as security to confirm your booking. If we are able to confirm the booking, we will draw on your credit card for the full value of your booking three days before your check-in time, unless you request otherwise. |

Do I have to pay by credit card? Paying by credit card is undoubtedly the easiest way to pay for accommodation booked through St. Petersburg Hotels. We do, however, also accept payment by bank transfer and by cash transfer through Western Union. If you wish to pay by either of these alternatives, please contact our customer services team for details. If we do not have your credit card details, we will be unable to confirm your booking before we have received payment in full for your entire booking. |

All information is securely encrypted, transmitted using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) technology, and your credit card details are used only to obtain payment for hotel bookings you make with St. Petersburg Hotels. Do I have to submit my credit card details on line? What happens if I cancel my room after I have paid? If you cancel or shorten your booking after we have drawn on your credit card, then please don't worry. We will reimburse the funds to your credit card (minus any late cancellation or no-show penalties incurred, including taxes) within 21 days of the moment we receive your cancellation request. |
