The Petro Palace has a small but classy restaurant, and two stylish bars. Breakfast is not included in room prices, and is served in the restaurant daily from 7.30am to 10.30am. The restaurant's size makes it a little difficult to accommodate all guests at peak periods, so it's recommended that you try to breakfast earlier to avoid queues. The hotel also has a number of smart private dining rooms and banquet halls for functions and celebrations.
Baron Restaurant
The Baron Restaurant tries hard to recreate the atmosphere and cuisine of a 19th century town club, in line with the hotel's past as the home of a wealthy Petersburg merchant. The restaurant is small and very elegant, with plush reproduction furniture and smartly uniformed staff. The menu draws heavily on classic Tsarist haute cuisine, with dishes prepared to authentic historical recipes. There is also traditional entertainment in the guise of a Gypsy trio and, sometimes, dancing bears, who may do less to enhance the enjoyment of your meal.
Open daily from 12pm to 11pm.
All major credit cards accepted.
Lobby Bar
The tiny lobby bar features deep leather sofas and soft lighting, making it the ideal place to enjoy a quiet nightcap. The menu features a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, as well as pastries and light snacks.
Open 24 hours.
All major credit cards accepted.
Sky Bar
The Sky Bar contrasts with the rest of the Petro Palace with a thoroughly modern design that features plenty of glass, chrome and bright colors. The main attraction is the superb view from the top floor of the hotel over the historical center of St. Petersburg, particularly the golden domes of St. Isaac's Cathedral a few hundred meters away. The bar serves a huge range of cocktails with and without alcohol, as well as superior coffees and teas.
Open daily from 5pm to 11pm.
All major credit cards accepted.
