The vast Hotel Rossiya has been much improved by recent renovation. All rooms now have solid modern furniture that has been chosen for its functionality and pleasantly non-descript interiors. As prices have stayed more or less the same as they always were, the Rossiya now offers excellent value accommodation. Rooms have better amenities and more space than at any other hotel in this price range. All rooms have en suite bathrooms with modern plumbing fittings.

Measuring a more-than-adequate 14 square meters, the Rossiya's category A Singles are the most basic rooms in the hotel, and are priced accordingly. The simple, modern furniture includes single bed, coffee table and two armchairs.

Identical to Category A rooms, but with slightly more extensive amenities, these spacious Twin Rooms have plenty of room for two, with twin single beds and a comfortable seating area comprising a coffee table and two armchairs. The 12 Comfort Double Rooms at the Rossiya Hotel are over 25 square meters in area, making them more than large enough to accommodate two in comfort, and with plenty of space for working and relaxing. The 27 Junior Suites at the Rossiya Hotel measure just under 35 square meters, and are made up of a bedroom with Queen-size bed, and a living room with writing desk, plus a comfortable seating area that can be used to entertain guests or just to relax. The Hotel Rossiya's six Two Room-Suites are reasonably sized and simply comfortable, with few frills. Comprising a bedroom with King-size bed, and a living room with writing desk and chair, and comfortable soft furnishings around a coffee table, Suites also have large windows that increase the air of space and lightness in the rooms.

Measuring 47.5 square meters, the Rossiya's Apartments are great value for money. Like the rest of the rooms at the Rossiya, Apartments are unremarkable in terms of decor and furniture, but they offer plenty of space, with separate bedroom, living room and study. Bedrooms have King-size beds, and an extra bed can be added in Apartments for an additional fee.
