The St. Petersburg has been used since Soviet times as a venue for large-scale conferences and seminars, and to this day regularly hosts international scientific and medical symposia. Facilities retain their Soviet styling, which gives them their own peculiar appeal. They do also have up-to-date technical equipment, and air-conditioning throughout. They are also very reasonably priced.
The largest space at the Hotel Saint Petersburg is the Congress Hall, a 797-seater theatre that features decor direct from the seventies, with a lot of gold and pink. It is one of the few venues in St. Petersburg available for private hire that can seat over 500.
The St. Petersburg's Glass Hall and White Hall are similar spaces, both with seating for up to 100 delegates in a variety of seating formats. Boasting wall-length floor-to-ceiling windows, and genuinely interesting interiors, they are well equipped and surprisingly ergonomic.
The Blue Hall is equally well equipped and stylishly retro. It has seating for up to 50. The hotel also has a large and attractive Exhibition Hall, covering 1500 square meters, and featuring clean white walls and wall-length floor-to-ceiling windows that can be blacked-out if required.
